Mini Vacuum Bell (16 cm) – Non-Invasive Lifting of Funnel Chest

The Mini Vacuum Bell is the smallest model in our standard Pectus Excavatum range. It is primarily designed for children and teenagers aged roughly 12 – 16 years, yet it can also be used by slim adults with a narrower chest width who prefer a compact and comfortable non-invasive therapy option.

Size Decision

The device should fully cover the pectus area and its edges should not cross over the nipples. If your inside-to-inside nipple distance is typically below ≈ 14 cm (5.5"), the Mini is usually the most suitable size instead of the Small (19 cm).

The cup is elliptical in geometry — approximately 16 cm vertical × 14 cm horizontal.

If your nipple distance is closer to 18 – 22 cm or you prefer a larger coverage, consider the Small Vacuum Bell (19 cm).

Children Models & Options

For younger children, specially designed child-sized Vacuum Bell models are available to ensure the best fit and comfort:

• 16 cm Mini Vacuum Bell – Recommended for ≈ 12 – 16 years (oldest child / teen)
• 14 cm Vacuum Bell – Recommended for ≈ 8 – 11 years
• 12.5 cm Vacuum Bell – Recommended for ≈ 4 – 7 years
• 11 cm Vacuum Bell – Recommended for ≈ 2 – 4 years

These smaller pediatric models are built from the same medical-grade silicone as the adult range and provide gentle suction suitable for safe daily therapy under medical supervision. Age references are indicative and may vary depending on each child’s development and chest shape.
